Product Details:
Stainless steel is a metal alloy, made up of steel mixed with different elements such as chromium, nickel, molybdenum, silicon, aluminium and carbon. Iron mixed with carbon to produce steel is the main component of stainless steel. Chromium is added to make it resistant to rust.
Grade 316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
A variety of solid (also known as braided) wires are available to address the different environmental, mechanical strength and electrical requirements. The flexibility offered by the wire construction makes working with wire easier during the installation and results in a neat clean look on the fence without compromising the fence performance. This wire is the grade of choice for high corrosive coastal areas.
