The Druid 18 LCD energizer is a powerful version of Druid 15 LCD, boasting 7.2 output joules into 500 Ohm load. This intelligent unit is the ideal choice for a large series security fencing systems. Using the Adaptive Power Technology (APT), pioneered and patented, this energizer offers a new and unique method in detecting how much power a fence can accept and handle before it starts to arc and waste energy, thus maximizing the power of the fence. Changes in surrounding environment can affect a fences efficiency. The APT actively analyses the fence and adapts the transfer of power as required to ensure maximum performance.
This energizer is an excellent choice for coastal areas, where the salt build-up during dry season can result in increased power losses along the fence.The background colours of the LCD display, give a quick glance indication of the energizer status without the user having to approach the unit in order to read the display. Green indicates that all is fine, orange indicates that attention is required and red indicates an alarm condition. The coloured lights are available from a distance and are quick to spot.
A high-voltage shock combined with a physical barrier will deter anyone from attempting to penetrate the perimeter fence. The detecting ability of an electric fence energizer will sound an alarm when the perimeter of the property being protected has been infiltrated or tampered with. By keeping the perimeter protected using an electric fence, the attempted break in of the protected area is delayed, giving additional time for a reaction team to respond.
