With the DG85 outdoor sensor you can protect your residences balcony, backyard or any commercial outdoor installation. Two sensors, a special lens and digital processing help the detector identify humans and ignore animals weighing up to 40 Kg.
The DG85 outdoor detector is extremely reliable. The DG85 hardwired outdoor detector combines advanced features and patented technologies to provide a high level of detection and false alarm prevention. This product is available with one of three lenses - pet array, horizontal curtain beam and the vertical curtain beam.
Pet immunity will be compromised at a higher ground level in front of the outdoor sensor and human detection will become slower facing a declining level if not aligned correctly. Do not install the DG85 facing to infinity, open fields, bushes or urban areas. Termination should be towards a solid object and not hedges, palisading or wooden fences.
Be aware of backgrounds like black walls, tar, zinc plates, paved areas, or facing it towards any objects that could reach high temperatures in the sun. Plants with large leaves such as palms, sterlitzia or delicious monsters could activate the DG85 when moving around in the wind. Do not point the DG85 towards palisade fencing, hedges or any other non-solid fencing as infrared energy travels through this and pedestrians, neighbours or moving vehicles will be detected.
Other moving objects such as washing on lines, playground swings, etc. could cause false alarms. Viewing from the top of the DG85 lens detects at a ninety degree angle from left to right. From the side view, the unique lens produces two view patterns, one on top of the other.
The DG85 overcomes environmental challenges by combinig a special weatherproof design with the proven technology of the world renown Dg75. Its impact and temperature resistant ABS and poly-carbonate casing is lined with and injected rubber gasket and its electronic circuit is protected with a plastic cover to withstand water, snow, wind and dust.
Keep intruders out by bringing security protection to the outdoors with the DG85. Its dual optical filtering system and UV protected lens blocks out sunlight and allows only infrared light (body heat) to pass through.
A microprocessor - based digital analysis completely processes each detected signal for precise human detection. Digital processes, such as automatic temperature compensation, differentiate between movement signals and interference signals to eliminate false alarms
